Start with the objective

International profiling does not automatically mean export.

The right ambition may be to strengthen a brand, test a market, develop relationships, attract qualified visitors, explore sales — or combine several aims over time. The model should fit the partner, not the other way around.

01

International positioning

Use relevant professional attention, credible contexts and regional storytelling to strengthen how a producer, destination or food culture is understood.

02

Explore international sales

Assess readiness, market fit, buyer relevance and practical routes before making commitments on volume or distribution.

03

Combine visibility and business

Connect market presence, professional visits, product experience and commercial follow-up in one longer-term development path.

Who we work with

Different partners. A shared need for relevance.

Arctic Appetites coordinates agreed supplier preparation and market work, with the expertise and delivery arrangements required by the assignment.

Producers

Positioning, market readiness, buyer dialogue, product presentations, testing and realistic commercial follow-up for Norwegian food and beverage producers.

For producers

Regions & destinations

Mapping producers and hosts, supplier information, and agreed market work with regions, destinations and food networks. Tourism development involves the necessary expertise.

For regions

Food & gastronomy networks

Shared market programmes, capability building and stronger links between producers, hospitality, tourism and international audiences.

Tourism organisations

Market-informed development of experiences, itineraries and professional relationships across travel trade, culinary travel and MICE.

Public and project partners

Focused collaborations with counties, municipalities, clusters, innovation and research environments where roles and outcomes are clearly defined.

How value is built

From potential to a credible market path.

Arctic Appetites combines Norwegian supplier coordination with buyer work and agreed goods trade in Spain. An assignment can cover selected activities, and professional feedback can change the proposed offer.

01

Readiness & positioning

Clarify the offer, audience, story, capacity and level of international ambition.

02

Product & experience development

Connect raw materials, hosts, place and use into something professionals can understand and act on.

03

Professional relationships

Develop relevant dialogue across HoReCa, travel trade, MICE, distribution, media and networks.

04

Testing & activation

Use tastings, presentations, visits and selected market activity to learn before scaling.

05

Inbound activity

Coordinate proposed professional visits where hosts, specialist input, costs and delivery responsibilities are agreed.

06

Commercial follow-up

Translate genuine interest into realistic next steps, with responsibilities and conditions made clear.

A coordinated Norway–Europe structure

Development at origin. Presence in market.

Norway

Arctic Appetites AS

AS maps producers, products and visitor opportunities, gathers supplier information and coordinates the necessary expertise and supplier follow-up in Norway.

Spain / European Union

Arctic Appetites SL

SL gathers buyer needs and clarifies product selection and commercial terms. For agreed goods assignments, SL purchases goods and handles import, storage and transport coordination, sales and invoicing in Spain.

AS and SL are separate legal entities with complementary tasks. Tourism offers are developed and delivered with the necessary specialist expertise. Responsibility for assembling, selling, invoicing and delivering each offer is agreed for the individual assignment. Scope, commissioning party, payer, costs and responsibilities are agreed for each assignment.

The model works both ways

Market relationships can lead back to Norway.

International professionals understand Norwegian gastronomy more deeply when they encounter producers, landscapes, seasons and hospitality in context. Qualified visits can strengthen relationships, visibility, product knowledge and future commercial opportunities.

A useful first conversation

Three questions before choosing activity.

A programme should begin with a defined partner need. These questions help identify whether Arctic Appetites is the right fit and which part of the platform is useful.

What should become stronger?

Position, brand, producer capability, destination offer, market insight, sales opportunity or professional relationships?

Who must care?

Chefs, buyers, travel specialists, distributors, media, MICE planners, visitors or project partners?

What is realistic now?

A strategy, a test, a visit, an activation, a market conversation or a longer commercial path?
