This notice explains how Arctic Appetites handles personal data when you use arcticappetites.com, contact us, create a trade account or place an order.
Who is responsible
Arctic Appetites operates through two separate legal entities:
- Arctic Appetites AS, organisation number 934 570 901, Tussefaret 1A, 1709 Sarpsborg, Norway.
- Arctic Appetites SL, VAT number ESB75990291, Spain.
The entity responsible for a specific processing activity depends on which company receives and handles your enquiry, account, order or commercial relationship. For privacy questions or requests, email post@arcticappetites.com.
Information we collect

- Trade accounts and orders: account, company, billing, delivery, order and transaction information needed to provide the service. Payment details are handled by the applicable payment provider; Arctic Appetites does not need your full card details.
- Website use: device, browser, approximate location, pages viewed, traffic source and interactions where analytics consent has been given.
- Technical and security data: IP address, request logs and diagnostic information needed to operate, secure and troubleshoot the website.
Why we use personal data
We use personal data to respond to enquiries, assess potential work, manage professional relationships, administer trade accounts and orders, deliver requested services, meet legal and accounting obligations, protect the website and—where you consent—understand how the website is found and used.
The applicable legal basis may be steps requested before entering a contract, performance of a contract, compliance with a legal obligation, legitimate interests in operating and securing the business, or consent. You may withdraw consent at any time without affecting processing that occurred before withdrawal.
Cookies and analytics
The website uses essential technologies needed for security, account, basket and checkout functions. Google Analytics 4 is connected through Site Kit by Google to measure website use. For visitors who are shown a consent choice, non-essential analytics storage is used only in accordance with that choice. You can change or withdraw your choice through the cookie settings available on the website.
Service providers and transfers
We use service providers for hosting, website operation, email and form delivery, analytics, ecommerce and payments. They process data only for the relevant service and under applicable contractual safeguards. Some providers may process data outside the European Economic Area; where this occurs, an approved transfer mechanism or other applicable safeguard must be used.
How long we keep data
We keep enquiry and relationship data only for as long as it is relevant to the request or professional relationship, subject to legitimate follow-up and legal requirements. Account and order records may be retained for the periods required by accounting, tax, customs and other applicable law. Security logs and analytics data are retained according to the settings and operational needs of the relevant service.
Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection or data portability. You may also withdraw consent and complain to the relevant supervisory authority, including Datatilsynet in Norway or the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD) where appropriate. Contact post@arcticappetites.com so we can identify and handle the request securely.
Changes to this notice
We may update this notice when the website, services or legal requirements change. The current version and update date will be published on this page.
